This hostel is in the most beautiful location. Waking up here, having an early morning cup of coffee, watching the waves, then snagging a board to go surf at dawn. This place is heaven. I took a morning surf lesson with Jimeal and was so thankful. To have someone who knows the breaks and help read the waves was unparalleled. That morning, we also had 2 different pods of dolphins come and swim right under our boards. It was incredible.

I can't wait to get back there and spend some more time.

Amazing beach view hostel I stayed with two friends in this lovely hostel and wish we would have had the time to extend our stay. They have great affordable breakfast and food, a large outdoor area with plenty of space to hang out and watch the waves and very friendly staff. Since we visited during low season there weren't a lot of other guests and the evening was pretty quiet but we enjoyed the peaceful calm and saw a fantastic sunset, sunrise and spotted a whole school of dolphins right from our breakfast table! Highly recommend!

Amazing place, but bed bugs ruined it a bit Amazing place, location, people, vibe setup etc. But we all have bed bugs/mites in our beds, in a private room. Unacceptable. Came for a solid nights sleep and we all ended up scratching the entire night away. Not lekker.

Vacation Most amazing experience! I was there for 7 days.the place is amazing and beautiful so as the staff.

The staff they were amazing and friendly i was there alone the first 4 days then my bf joined the sea view was so freshening. it was so amazing to see people that enjoyed their job.

As much the rooms didnt have wifi which i wish they can improved i mostly sat in the restaurant which had good connection for me to be able to work and loved the breakfast and coffee.

This a to go place and definitely looking forward to another vacation at Island 🏝 vibes to see the amazing staff they have and hopefully do surfing 🏄‍♀️

Great music and a great range of activity’s all being super fun and inclusive , surf lessons being the best very experienced coaches aswell as a large range of boards for rent boards for all skill levels

Excellent Vibe The Hostel has a sensational location, with an incredible sea view!! The common area is super well equipped, clean and comfortable!! The bar/restaurant has great options for breakfast (fair price), and a specific dish (delicious) for each dinner, where you can socialize with other guests! The hostel staff is amazing, with incredible energy, and they promote different activities every day to entertain guests (all of the ones I did were free)!!!!

Amazing experience Overall had an amazing experience at Island Vibes in Jeffreys Bay. We stayed in one of the cabins with sea view, which was great value for the money! Staff was super friendly and helpful. Particularly enjoyed the company of JJ and Jamila, who arranged a wonderful trip to the waterfall and a real African braai! Quality surfing gear and wetsuits for a fair rental price. Surfing instructor Liam was very kind and helpful. Bar, kitchen and other facilities were clean. Showers didn't have hot water, but that was alright with the hot weather.

Excellent and friendly place Great friendly staff. Clean rooms and kitchen had what we needed.
We especially enjoyed the Waterfall trip with Simphiwe. The trip at Jan se gat included a braai, wetsuits, blow-up boat & Zip lining..

Excellent vibe and friendly staff We enjoyed staying at Island Vibe Jeffreys Bay. The staff is very friendly and helpfull. It was not pur first time we stayed there, and certainly not our last.
We decided on a backpacking trip this year to introduce our 18 year old daughter to the backpacking vibe in SA. She already said she is definately bringing her friends there. Island Vibe JBay was one of the top 3 on our list to visit.
With our previous experiences at Island Vibe JBay we will most definately recomend your establishment and come for a visit again. We would like to thank you and your staff for everything.
The only thing that can be adressed is protection against the wind around the bar area, i.e storm flaps

Great stay. Highly recommend Loved the space and the people. Perfectly located near everything, and is easy to walk to the beach and all other amenities. The guests staying alongside you are very friendly and the environment is pretty great

Room with a view Staff welcoming, helpful and friendly. Room comfortable with a view to die for!! Access to beach good and security on point. Nice location for going to the beach. Enjoyed the stay. Good value for money.
